Steak Sandwich Recipes
Pepper Steak Sandwich Recipe:

4 servings
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound sirloin steak, slightly frozen
(option: 4 (150g each) beef rump steaks)
2 green bell peppers, sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 large sweet brown onion, halved, sliced
4 small French, Italian or sourdough rolls
(option: 1 bread loaf)
2 tablespoons olive oil (or vegetable oil)
1/3 cup whole-egg mayonnaise
(option: mustard, ketch up)
1 garlic clove, crushed
salt, black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1 Slice steak into thin strips and set aside.
2 Combine mayonnaise and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
3 Stir-fry bell pepper and onion in oil in large skillet or wok until crisp-tender. Cook, stirring, for 5 to 6 minutes or until softened and light golden. Add steak and cook Grill for 2 minutes on each side for medium or until cooked to preferred doneness. Remove to a plate and cover to keep warm.
4 Split rolls, hollow slightly and warm in microwave or toaster oven. If use break loaf, cut bread crossways into 4 pieces. Cut pieces in half lengthways. Grill both sides of bread for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until toasted.
5 Spoon beef and vegetable mixutre into rolls. Season with garlic, salt, black pepper or mustard or ketchup.
6 Spread garlic mayonnaise over toasted sides of bread. Top bread bases with rocket, tomato, steak, onion and bread tops. Serve.
Caesar Steak Sandwich Recipe:
4 servings
Ingredients:
1 lb beef for stir fry
1/3 cup PLUS 2 tbsp non-creamy Caesar dressing
2 cups torn romaine lettuce
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
4 hoagie rolls, 6″ long, split, toasted
Instructions:
1 Marinate beef in 1/3 cup dressing in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2 Remove beef and discard marinade. Heat large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Stir-fry 1/2 of beef 1-2 minutes until surface of beef is no longer pink. Remove. Repeat with remaining beef.
3 Toss lettuce with 2 tbsp dressing and 2 tbsp cheese. Serve beef in rolls with lettuce and remaining cheese.
